almost that time of year...

This past weekend Hollis, Jessica, Justin & Katie came to visit Chris and I. We had tons of fun and like usual...the weekend went by too quickly! They got in late Friday and Saturday we hung out around the house then took them to a place called Crickets in Waco. We had dinner there then stayed a played shuffleboard and darts! FUN! :)

We just found out that Hollis accepted a job in Houston, TX and will be starting soon...so after the wedding in May, Jess and Hollis will be living in Houston!! YAY! We are so excited for them! They will be a little closer than there home in Portland!

Last week, Lauren and I met in Hillsboro to get some Christmas shopping done and boy did we do some damage! :) We got some good stuff though...including a set of 101 cookie cutters that I cannot wait to use!

I made a trip to FM this week to see my parents, go shopping with mom and see Lauren for a bit. It was very nice to be able to go home and I will definately miss being able to make those trips during the week when I get a job...someday! haha

Speaking of jobs...I am still looking...nothing has worked out yet...but I am still looking! Keeping my fingers crossed something will come my way. Until then, I am enjoying time at home, being a little house wife...but I would like to do something so I can meet people and get out of the house!

This weekend, Chris and I are looking forward to some time together. We love being able to see a lot of our friends but traveling every weekend or having company gets crazy! A nice, relaxing weekend at home will be nice!

And finally....I can't wait for Christmas to be here! The tree is set up, decorations out, shopping is almost finished and we are putting up lights outside this weekend! Christmas time is my favorite!
