Starting in February...all the way through the 2nd weekend in June...this was and will be the only weekend Chris and I were both at home, together! Horrible huh?! So, we took full advantage of this weekend! It was wonderful! Originally, we were planning on going to College Station for the Spring Game BUT....I had about had it with traveling and decided that I was staying in Waco! :)
Friday night we relaxed and watched a movie...wonderful!! On saturday, I had told Chris that I had planned a "date day" for us. We slept in a bit, woke up, had eggs for breakfast (yummy...Chris is the best egg cook), then went to work out. Afterwards, we started the "date day" by going to a crawfish boil. They had a live band playing and the weather was unbelievable! I did get pretty burnt but it was all worth it! We came home to get ready for the 2nd part of "date day"....we went to Ninfa's downtown then to the Hippodrome to see Gabriel Iglesias...a pretty darn funny comedian. I hadn't heard much about him before but I figured that he couldn't be that bad! Turns out...he is hilarious and we had a blast. As for today....we cleaned ALL DAY!!! The house was getting icky so I am glad we had a chance to do some spring cleaning! :)
With me starting my job...I didn't realize how busy our schedules would be and how much time we wouldn't get to spend together. It is nice to be able to slow down and enjoy all that we have been blessed with. I have the most wonderful husband a girl could ever dream of!
Sometimes we all get caught up in the craziness of every day hustle & bustle that we often don't enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I thank God daily...I do believe that I am one of the luckiest girls ever....an amazing husband who supports me, encourages me, and loves me for all that I am, a family that is always there for me and friends that I can always count on!! I am so happy! :)
I love him!! Especially when he plays the guitar and sings for me! haha :)
