AXO Reunion 2009

As Morgan strolls around clapping her arms up & down to look like an alligator mouth, chanting "We are the gators, we don't want no haters", we are about to start our 1st "game" of the weekend at the AXO Reunion. Leave it up to Morgan to come up with the team cheer.

13 girls....13 sorority sisters...all representing AXO in some way...3 teams...The Alligators, The Pearls & The Carnations...all of us wearing either red, green or white t-shirts that Megan had made for us. You can't have a sorority gathering without getting a tshirt to remember it by! One more AXO shirt to add to the 500 others we all aquired at A&M...but this one is much cuter...and actually says "2009" on it, rather than "2005". Guess you could say it made us all feel young again!?

The schedule/agenda of games for the day, as emailed to us a week before arriving at the lake....

10:30 am- Egg Toss
11:00 am- Chubby Bunny contest
11:30 am- AXO Trivia game
2:30 pm- Watermelon race in the pool (the watermelon was oiled up of course)
3:30 pm- Aggie Ring Day relay

4:30 pm- Ice Cream eating contest
5:00 pm- Flip cup competition
6:30 pm- Plunger races
Those are just some of them...not all had names that would be appropriate to repeat on here. Yes, we did keep track of scores but unfortunately, Team Alligator did not win (just wait until next year!) Our planners (Morgan & Megan) did a wonderful job planning the weekend. We split up into groups and made breakfast, lunch & dinner so we actually had good meals!

It was so nice being able to catch up with everyone! Can't wait to do it again next year!
