Top 5 reasons I LOVE football season... 5. Football is fun to watch...now that Chris has taught me a thing or two, I actually enjoy watching the sport! Surprisingly I was able to explain the difference between types of offensive plays to my mother the other day.4. Football season means Fall is right around the corner. The weather has been absolutely wonderful and I cannot wait to pull out all of our winter clothes! We sat on the back porch, me in sweatpants & a sweatshirt (Chris in shorts & a t-shirt as usual), drank wine and enjoyed the beautiful 60 degree evening the other day! It was AWESOME!
3. We are going to a Cowboys game this year...I have never been, they are in a new stadium, and we love Romo...and Witten...and Barber!
2. Watching football brings back some of the best memories...high school & college football games...even though I did not go to football games to actually watch the game, but instead to chat with friends and socialize, we had some of the best times in the stands! In high school, being on the drill team was such a neat experience and even though I always wanted to leave the games after halftime at A&M, I am so glad we were able to experience Texas A&M football with some of our best friends. Now that we aren't in College Station, I miss A&M football!
1. My number 1 reason for loving football season....seeing my wonderful husband achieve his life-long dream!! Chris has always wanted to be a football coach and he is now 6 weeks into his first football season as a coach! I LOVE seeing him on the sidelines. He is such a natural and his guys are doing so well this year. Even though we are having to adjust to the crazy schedule, I look forward to hearing about his days every night after he gets home.
See Chris?!?! The guy to the left was his linebacker coach when he was in HS...neat huh!? :)Football has been our life lately....so if anyone would like to see the Burnetts, come to the football games...we will be there! :)
