Two weekends ago Ryan, Katie, Jason & Andrea came to visit and celebrate the New Year and Chris' 23rd birthday with us! We had tons of fun and were so sad to see them go. The weekend was perfect other than a little incident involving my head and butt and the hard floor in our house. Other than that, the weekend was full of smiles! Saturday night we showed Katie & Ryan China Spring's burger place. I love it!! Then Sunday night they treated us to dinner at China Spring's italian food joint! I love that place as well..some of the best italian food ever!

Later Sunday night, Jason and Andrea got into town!! Monday Chris had to go to work so we were going to run some errands and get ready for the party that night! Chris surprised us by walking into the house a little after noon. He got off early so the boys went to the mall and the girls and i went to Walmart to get food, drinks and decorations for Chris' birthday/New Year's Eve.

The night consisted of Chris' parents, brother & sister in law
surprising him by coming in town, wonderful chicken & beef fajitas that the boys grilled, a yummy sugar cookie cake, tons of chips and queso, many trips to the gas station after realizing we got 6 oz. beers rather than 12 oz., the new card game (Nertz) that I taught everyone, followed by drinking games, cigars, many pictures being taken, and us almost forgeting about the whole countdown to midnight! TONS OF FUN and Chris is now 23!! ahh...old man now! :)

O ya...good news...Ryan & Katie bought a new house!! We are so excited for them, especially since they are going to be so close now....Norman, OK was way too far away!! We also figured out..Ryan's office is only about 45 minutes away from Waco!! YAY! How cool is that?!

My parents came to town this past Friday and we took them out to eat for my mom's birthday! It was very nice seeing them, as usual! :)

We also finally found a chair and bought it. It isn't the dark chocolate color I wanted, but we were having such a hard time finding what we wanted we settled with a very comfy beige color chair. We will be picking it up next weekend and are so excited!!

Other than that...there have been no other new happenings in the Burnett household.
