2008...WOW!!

Chris and I have had a great year so far! We have enjoyed spending more time at home rather than traveling every weekend. This past weekend though, Chris enjoyed time alone at the house and I went to College Station for a few days. We bought new speakers for his truck and he has been trying to get them all set up so he worked on that all weekend and finally has new speakers installed!! It took longer than he wanted but I am very proud of my handyman husband! :)

While in College Station, Kerri and I started planning Kelley's bachelorette party. We are so excited about it and can't wait for it to get here! Friday night Kelley, Kerri, Morgan and I went to the Tap...and had tons of fun as usual. I also got to see some good friends that I haven't seen in a long time! It was very nice! Saturday, Kerri, Kelley and I met their mom in Houston and looked for bridesmaids dresses. WE FOUND ONE!! Kelley found a color she loved and then we went to find a dress. We found a few we really liked but all fell in love with one! It is so pretty! Saturday night Morgan had to work so we went to La Bodega to keep her company.

Sunday Kelley and I went to see the movie 27 dresses.....it was SOOOO good! Everyone should see it!

I got back home around 5 pm Sunday. Josh and Becca came over and we got WingStop for dinner then brought it back to the house so the boys could watch the rest of the football game. It was so nice hanging out with them. Even though we live so close to each other...we hardly get the chance to hang out. We are hoping this year will be a little less busy so we can see each other more!

Chris and I are reminded daily of how blessed we are! God has blessed us with the best friends anyone could ever ask for....amazing, loving, supporting families that we couldn't live without...and of course each other. I am such a lucky girl to have Chris not only as my best friend, but as my husband! I look forward to all that our future has in store for us!
