Burnett family update...

Lets see here...I really need to blog more often so I don't have to write such much each time! I can't even remember everything that has been going on in our lives. Since the trip....Valentines day was wonderful, other than the fact Chris went to the dentist that afternoon and so his mouth was numb all evening! haha! :) It was pretty funny...but then, it started getting sore! Poor baby! We had a nice steak dinner that took Chris about an hour to eat! Normally, he would have devoured it in 5 minutes! BUT....Chris has a new look now!!

Last weekend, Chris and I had a relaxing weekend at home. It was kind of nasty weather though! The dogs LOVED running around in our mud swamp of a backyard. When it rains a lot, our backyard floods and turns into mud! It is gross but they enjoyed it. They also got 2 baths last weekend...it was hilarious! We haven't given them a bath in the tub since they were TINY!

And for the biggest news....I got a big girl job! :) YAY!! I start my job as the Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society on Tuesday! I am so excited to not only have gotten a job but also to work for such an amazing organization! I am a little nervous about starting but cannot wait at the same time!

Chris has also reached his 1st big milestone in his career at Lauren Engineers! I am so proud of him and suppossidly he is amazing at his job!! :) Which of course doesn't surprise me!

My mom came to hang out on Wednesday!! It was so nice being able to see her and she also was able to help me a bit with our taxes! WOW...i hate doing taxes, but it was so much easier with her here!

Jaylynn came to visit this weekend! It was so nice seeing her since I feel like I never get to! We went to eat Friday night then shopping on Saturday! Saturday night we made dinner then just played games at the house! But she had to leave this morning! :(
