Christmas is here!!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!! I love the lights, the music, and the way that everyone comes together and of course, the reason for the season, Jesus!! And even the weather isn't TOO bad...it is a nice break from the Texas heat.

Last week we tried taking our Christmas card picture...it took a while. Getting 2 boxers to hold still and look halfway sane during a picture is close to impossible! After taking a couple dozen, we decided to call it quits and just pick one...this is it...

This past weekend Lauren and I went to visit Jaylynn in Houston. I have not seen her new place since they moved it so it was very nice getting to catch up! We got some Christmas shopping done also!

Last Wednesday, Chris took me on a date! It was so much fun and very nice to spend some alone time with the husband! He planned out the whole thing and surprised me by taking me to dinner in downtown Grapevine (which I LOVE) then we went to this little theatre and watched Christmas Vacation!

We also celebrated Ryan's birthday a few weeks ago. Katie threw a great party for her hubby and everyone had tons of fun! We have the best friends we could ever ask for!!
