We love our Texas Country!

Chris and I went to an Adam Hood concert a few days ago with some friends and had a blast! He played in a bar called the White Elephant Saloon in the Stockyards which is always so much fun. We live so close to FW but always seem to forget to go there. Every time we are there, we say to ourselves "we should come here more often".... Driving down the streets I finally understood why people picture cowboys & horses when they hear the word "Texas"...and ask if we ride horses to work & school. Passing by the bars, we see men standing outside, adorned with "Texas attire"...cowboy hat, usually cocked to one side, hiding one eye...extremely tight jeans, a plaid button-down shirt and occasionally a vest. As we walk by, we are greeted by a friendly "HOWDY" or a simple grin. I love Texas...and I really love Fort Worth.

We enjoy going to Dallas, every once in a while...but it is a completely different crowd. Last time we were there, Chris wore a brown jacket that I guess looked like something only a Fort Worthian would wear....he over heard a man behind him suggest that he "go back to Fort Worth, where he belongs"!??! How did he know?! :)

My very sweet husband carved this in our table...he informed me it is supposed to say our initials...he is so cute! :)
